Worship every Sunday at 10:30 a.m.

Domestic Missions

We come together to worship and learn so that we can go out into the world and share the joy of Christ’s transforming love with other people. Here are a few ways we impact the world outside our courtyard.

Urban Youth Impact

Ministry Snapshot: Urban Youth Impact is on a mission to love, equip and empower inner-city youth to fulfill their God-given purpose.

Dedicated to providing educational enrichment, resources, safe environments, personal mentorship, and job-readiness programs to facilitate the growth and development of Palm Beach County’s underserved youth.

Proceeds benefit Suzuki Violin scholarships for budding musicians in need.

First Care Pregnancy Centers

Ministry Snapshot: For more than 30 years, they have been dedicated to providing a safe place for women to explore their options during an unplanned pregnancy. Their goal is to help women make healthy and informed decisions when it comes to pregnancy, and provide compassionate care and resources about their sexual health. First Care Women’s Clinic has four locations in Palm Beach County, each providing a variety of free and confidential services tailored to assist women struggling with an unintended pregnancy. Church Planting

Ministry Snapshot: An integral part of the vision of ECO is to move congregations to a “Multiplication Mindset.”  If we can do that, we will become more than merely a denomination, we will become a movement. Here’s a link to a very well written article by ECO’s Synod Executive, Dana Allin, explaining what that looks like. http://eco-pres.org/blog/shift-five-from-an-additionsubtraction-mentality-to-a-multiplication-mindset/

Meals on Wheels

Ministry Snapshot: Meals on Wheels specializes in addressing the unique needs of America’s most vulnerable and high-risk senior and disabled populations. For more than 40 years, our services have effectively improved health outcomes and quality of life for millions of clients each year, while reducing risks, hospital readmissions and overall healthcare costs.

Through our services, we improve and support patient health and recovery by delivering nutritious meals. Increase well-being that supports patient health by providing the human contact that reduces isolation, depression and anxiety. Reduce negative impacts on patient health by assessing home environments and addressing threats or risks. Fueled by a commitment to address senior hunger and isolation, Meals on Wheels provides the basic support that seniors need to maintain their health and independence in virtually every community in America. https://www.mealsonwheelsamerica.org/

Missionaries Stephen & Sharon Hamilton with Bow Down Church

Ministry Snapshot: We want to start a movement of Jesus in the inner cities of Palm Beach County, and that starts with showing loving and tangibly serving the people God has placed around. We can show love and server through a number of different ways.

The outreach department of Bow Down Church works to assist the church in achieving its missional and visional goals. We seek to promote God’s kingdom through all outreach and invite all to bow down under His reign over all things and welcome His rule in their lives. We believe His rule brings about the best for all and are committing ourselves to reach out and help others walk in this. Our desire is to be a bridge for the church into the dark corners of our community so those on the streets would be connected to love and hope from outreach initiatives and ultimately become disciples who do what God is calling them to do.

Additional Programs/Initiatives:

  • E34 Mentoring: seeks to match compassionate and committed Christians, 18 years of age and older, with youth grades 3-12, to build a long-term relationship of trust and stability.  In these relationships, youth will receive the love and message of Jesus Christ and have opportunities to grow as disciples.
  • Sentinel Prayer Ministry: A Sentinel is a soldier or guard whose job is to stand and keep watch. Our Sentinel’s do this through intercessory prayer. We understand that only Jesus can change lives and we realize nothing happens apart from Him. Our Sentinel’s take time in the morning to walk the streets of the Tamarind community praying for God’s hand to move, crying out for God to have mercy on this community.
  • Neighborhood Outreach: Vision: That the Tamarind community would be the best place to live in all of West Palm Beach because we have connected mentors to mentees and are succeeding in disciple making.

Nancy Sturrock – TEAM

Ministry Snapshot: Here is information from a recent trip to Bangladesh

Bangladesh Vision Trip: Our trip to Bangladesh back in November helped us to identify two partners through whom we can begin to send personnel to this very needy land. One of these is a hospital that is very much in need of maternal/child health professionals, rehab specialists and teachers. Pray with us as our mobilizers begin to share these opportunities with interested individuals that just the right ones will join us. Known as the most densely populated country in the world, more than 90% of the people of Bangladesh follow the Muslim religion. Even in 2018, there are still high infant and maternal mortality rates and much of the population has difficulty accessing quality medical care. Arsenic poison, human trafficking, and urban slum conditions are just a few of the other social conditions troubling this nation. We hope to join projects that are addressing these issues with holistic approaches that can bring about real and lasting transformation.

Cuba Church Development (Varadero and the surrounding area)

Ministry Snapshot: To make the love of Christ known to the people of Cuba. Though challenges still exist in Cuba, there is now the slightest opening to continue to let Christ shine on the people of Cuba.

We have partnered with the Varadero Presbyterian Church to further develop their feeding program.  Through our partnership with VPC and United Servants Abroad, we have acquired farm land where we are currently growing tomatoes and pineapples as cash crops.   Further, we have successfully raised funds to build a pig farm.  We are ceremoniously breaking ground on the pig farm on our next trip planned for March 2020.   We also continue to implement water filtration systems throughout Cuba.  Finally, we are using our license to sell Cuban art by partnering with Cuban artists who are developing paintings for us to bring back to the US and sell.  The proceeds from this mission will go to further the farm mission.

Via Veritas – Peppo Biscarini

Ministry Snapshot: Their Mission Statement: We are catalysts moving Italians from empty traditions to a vibrant personal relationship with a living God. We empower and disciple-through Biblical truths– influencers, couples and youth challenging them to do the same in their sphere of influence. In so doing we create grass root movements (churches and home fellowships) that transform families, communities and ultimately the nation.

Their Vision: To evangelize those who are FAT (Faithful, Available and Teachable) who can become multiplying disciples.

We are implementing a gradual shift from “binding traditions” to liberating Biblical truths that renovate the lives of those in the identified target areas. We have been working to create a movement by impacting the lives of the decision makers and the youth with the love and teaching of Christ so that in turn they will become agents of change to transform the lives of their peers as well as those under their leadership. Eventually some of those who have been transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives will be able to take ownership in the ministry by becoming actively involved where the Lord moves. In so doing the ministry would be able to extend to other Italian and European cities. https://www.viaveritas.org/
